This was the end of the five dynasties and ten kingdoms and the beginning of another era in Chinese History.

If Chu came into power instead of Qin, it is assumed that the leaders would be more "benevelant" and therefore major projects such as unifying the Hanzi system, measuring system, currency among other things, would not have happened, and they are EXTREMELY important elements of uniting a nation and people.
I believe that Chu though maybe not as aggressive as Qin was also expanding their kingdom through conquests.
With Chu i probably would have to be born into it.
