Chuck Traynor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Charles E. "Chuck" Traynor (born August 21, 1937; died July 22, 2002) was an American pornographer.
His cousin, Jay Traynor, was the original Jay of Jay and the Americans.
He was accused by his wife and star of the movie, Linda Lovelace, of forcing her into pornography and prostitution.

 Linda Lovelace
For many years since the film debuted, Boreman claimed that her first husband, Chuck Traynor, whom she divorced in 1973, had forced her into pornography at gunpoint.
Traynor went on to marry and guide the career of Marilyn Chambers, another major porn star.
According to Boreman's 1980 autobiography Ordeal, the couple's relationship was plagued by violence, rape, prostitution and of course, pornography.

In a book and subsequent congressional testimony, she said she was forced to perform in the movie by her husband, Chuck Traynor, who constantly beat her, raped her, and threatened her at gun point.
Traynor, who died of a heart attack in 2002, denied forcing her to appear in ''Deep Throat." But porn historians have generally portrayed him as a pimp and hustler with a violent history: After Lovelace left him, he promoted his next wife, Marilyn Chambers, in porn movies.
By then, she had had a radical double mastectomy due to bad silicone injections during the years she was with Traynor and had declared she was dying of liver disease.

Although this enjoyable and often insightful documentary features plenty of TV footage of Linda herself first espousing and then subsequently denouncing pornography, Chuck's role is summed up by a comment from one of Lovelace's relatives who states that "it's just a shame that he died before I got the chance to kill him".
In her books 'Ordeal' and 'Out Of Bondage', Lovelace (formerly Boreman, later Marchiano) claimed that Chuck was a monster who had held her prisoner, beating her, prostituting her, and ordering her at gunpoint to perform in 'stag loops' in which she was forced to have sex with animals.
When Lovelace turned on the multi-million dollar porno industry (which she herself had ironically helped to create) it was Chuck who was the true focus of her anger, causing her to claim that she had been the victim, rather than the star, of Deep Throat.
