The Chuo Line (大阪市営地下鉄中央線, Ōsaka-shiei-chikatetsu Chūō-sen) is a subway line of the Osaka Municipal Subway system in Japan.
On July 1, 2005, the OTS Line from Cosmosquare to Osakako became the section of the Chuo Line, however the rails from Cosmosquare to Osakako belong to Osaka Port Transport System (OTS).

Mark rode a portion of all 7 subway lines in Osaka, grabbing a couple of photos from each line.
The reason is that we are on the Sanyo Shinkansen line which was built after the Tokaido Line.
Then it was off to the Midosuji Subway Line for the quick trip to Hommachi station and 10 minute walk to the Hotel which we arrived at about 10:30pm.

This gem of a pass includes all subway transportation for Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, and Nara and most private rail lines in the Kansai area.
I took the Osaka subway to Umeda and hopped on the Hankyu Kyoto Line.
I then went to the Keifuku Arashiyama station across the street and took the Keifuku Arashiyama Line (which is basically a streetcar) to Shijo-Omiya station in Kyoto.

As is usually the case, I took the Keisei Express line backwhich left about 5 minutes after the Keisei Skyliner.
The most common line for people to jump in front of is the Chuo line which runs right down the middle of the Yamanote loop.
So synonymous is the Chuo line with suicide, that a term has been coined - the chuocide.

We had gotten another email from Kelly saying she actually could meet us in Osaka, so I ended up writing her one letting her know if she happened to be able to meet us that evening, that would be cool.
We caught the Midosuji line south from Umeda two stops to Honmachi, then rode the Chuo line about five stops to Osakakoo, the end of the main municipal subway line.
The Chuo line is confusing as it's a subway closer to the city, and an elevated train closer to the aquarium.

The Saikyo Line connects southern Saitama Prefecture with Akabane, Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Shibuya and Osaki.

Staying in Osaka at the Hilton is quite convenient in terms of Osaka station...you can easily hop a train to shin-osaka station to connect to the shinkansen.
The end of the Yumesaki Line or the station at the intersection of the Loop Line and the Chuo Line Subway look to be the closest train stops to the peir, at least according to the port area map I found on the internet.
Tempozan is the port area where the Osaka Aquarium is. There is no JR station so to speak....you'll need to take subway if you want it to be a train.

Matsumoto is just north of Shiojiri, the transfer point between the western and eastern legs of the Chuo Main line which takes the mountain route between Tokyo and Nagoya.
This is the Western leg of the Chuo Line and, coming from Tokyo, you will normally have to change trains at Shiojiri, near Matsumoto.
