		Church of God By Faith, Inc. was founded in Jacksonville in 1914 and the first church built in 1918 on the Westside in the area known as Jacksonville Heights.
		The church serves as basis whereby "believers" are encouraged, educated in the Word of God, strengthened, sustained, and helped to spiritually grow and be unified in an environment in which the Spirit of Christ is truly active.
		The name itself (Church of God) gives glory to the Lord, which is due unto His name, and "Faith", the tool indicative of the trust, confidence, reliability, and steadfastness that is wholeheartedly placed in the unseen power of God.

	Hurricane Relief Mission - Rebuilding the Gifford AME Church
		The church was damaged extensively by Hurricanes Frances and Jean, and the tiny parish was struggling to finance and repair their place of worship.
		On Saturday, nearly 40 volunteers from Trinity and Church Of God By Faith worked to clear the roofing debris remove the pews, church furnishings, and carpets, and strip away what remained of the ceilings.
