On August 21, 1945, The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Steubenville, East Liverpool, Toronto and districts of Ohio, purchased from the Calvary Methodist Church the real estate property at the intersection of South and Fourth Streets.
On July 19, 1946, the deed was transferred to the name of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
Since the church was the first Greek church in Steubenville, and the building originally housed a Methodist congregation, it is quite interesting that the architecture is Classic Greek.

Built in 1843, this is one of the oldest Toronto churches that is still in service, with its Gothic revival architecture, pointed arches, thin lancet windows, and buttresses.
The Anglican Church received a generous donation for the construction of another church under the conditions that it would be dedicated to the Holy Trinity, be Gothic in style, and be free to the public.

In December of 1991, the Bell'Arte Singers released its first compact disc entitled, A Childe is Born, featuring varied Christmas selections with Ian Sadler at the organ.
A second recording, A Sacred Concert was released in September, 1994 and features the splendid acoustics of Holy Trinity Church, Toronto.
The choir has been featured annually as part of the Toronto Star Christmas Children's Fund concerts and have participated in number of benefit concerts for charity and church outreach organizations.
