The material recovered to date includes the teeth of mammals (a pediomyid marsupial and a multituberculate with teeth smaller than, but morphologically similar to, those of Cimolodon similis), dinosaurs, sharks, rays, fragmentary jaws and postcrania of herptiles, and shell material of turtles (Table 1).
The mammals are similar to those known from the Wahweap, particularly the specimen of Cimolodon.
The single pediomyid tooth is a deciduous fourth premolar and compares almost identically to a tooth recovered from the uppermost Cretaceous beds on the Markagunt Plateau interpreted to be either latest Santonian or earliest Campanian in age (Eaton, Diem et al., in press).

Multituberculate faunas from the Dakota Formation (upper Cenomanian) and the Smoky Hollow Member of the Straight Cliffs Formation (middle or upper Turonian) are described.
The presence of Cimolodon is established in the Cenomanian; a new genus, possibly cimolodontid, is present as well.
A new genus (Dakotamys) is described from the Dakota Formation, and another (Bryceomys) from the Smoky Hollow Member.

Dogie mammals already known from other areas include the multituberculate Mesodma thompsoni, the periptychid condylarths Carsioptychus coarctatus and Haploconus inopinatus, and the mioclaenid condylarth Bomburia prisca.
Dogie new mammalian taxa representing genera known from other areas include new species of the multituberculates Ptilodus, Cimolodon, and Viridomys, and possibly new species of the marsupial Peratherium, the palaeoryctid Gelastops, the carnivore Protictis, and the condylarth Baioconodon.
In addition, several teeth of a new genus and species of mioclaenid condylarth have been recovered.

Isn't the ptilodont enamel microprismatic, with the exception of the weird bird, Cimolodon?
Should anyone be anxious for the resolution of the final question raised, Cimolodon is indeed the only known referred member of Ptilodontoidea to have had gigantoprismatic enamel.
