The Cincinnati Masters and Women's Open is an annual tennis tournament held in the Cincinnati suburb of Mason, Ohio.
The men's event is one of nine ATP Masters Series tournaments on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tour.
In 1903, the tournament was moved to the Cincinnati Tennis Club, where it was primarily held until 1972 when it moved to the Queen City Raquet Club in Sharonville, Ohio.

Hewitt received treatment for a stiff back during his semifinal match against Fernando Gonzalez at the Cincinnati Masters and admitted that the back was still troubling him during Sunday's 7-5 7-6 final loss to Carlos Moya.
Hewitt, preparing for his U.S. Open title defense, has won four titles this year, including Wimbledon and the Masters Series event in Indian Wells, Calif. He is the No.1 seed in the RCA Championships that start Monday in Indianapolis.
