Clearly lifted by the goal Cippenham assumed control of the game and pushed forward at every opportunity, limiting the Met Office to only a few half chances, the most notable of which saw Paul Arva narrowly fail to find the target with an audacious lob that left the keeper stranded.
As chances came and went and with the home crowd becoming increasingly frustrated, the Met Office managed to mount some attacks of their own, although the final pass was never quite good enough to create any clear goal-scoring opportunities.
