In 1996 there was much excitement as Gilles Villeneuve's son Jacques became a Williams driver but he was beaten by his team mate Damon Hill that day.

I finished my shift at work.  Those who I worked with at the time knew what Gilles Villeneuve meant to me.  His photos darned our place of business!  They tried to offered words to me but I shrug them off.
Lastly, I will never forget the moments I got to spend with Gilles.  He truly was a good person!  He loved his fans, and he was one of the nicest persons I have ever meet!  I will never forget Gilles Villeneuve!  He is still my hero today.  Evermore so now!
The Ferrari looked good in the 2nd Grand Prix in Brazil!  At the start, Gilles took the lead and kept it until halfway through the race.  Nelson Piquet was overtaking Gilles and waited to the last possible moment to out brake the Canadian, Gilles waited even longer, and the result was a quick off!
