	Cirrus SR20 (and a bit about the SR22)
		Cirrus is trying to market these planes to yuppies who've never flown light aircraft before and who lost interest in old metal airplanes because they were too noisy and uncomfortable compared to a modern car.
		Cirrus ducked out of paying by noting some fine print: "The seller does not provide any warranty either expressed or implied for those items which are expressly warranted by the specific manufacturer." The buyer had paid for a three-year extended warranty, but the alternator was only covered by a one-year warranty.
		Cirrus obviously thinks so because as of June 2005 they are offering a $7,000 incentive package on the SR22 to student pilots and VFR pilots with less than 250 hours of total time (the incentive does not apply to the lower-power lower-speed SR20).

	Science Fair Projects - Cirrus SR20
		One of the major selling points for the SR20 is that it has a fully digital avionics suite with one 10-inch Avidyne FlightMax primary flight display and one multi-function display.
		The SR20, like the slightly faster SR22, is equipped with Cirrus Design's Cirrus Aircraft Parachute System, a large parachute which can be deployed in an emergency to lower the entire aircraft to the ground safely.
		On June 1 2004, the SR20 became the first aircraft to achieve the new European Aviation Safety Agency certificate for aircraft imported into the European Union.

		On a side note....they had the founder of Cirrus on a Small Business radio talk show last week and he stated that since the Cirrus has a ballistic parachute....anyone can fly with without worry of an aircraft safety issue.....
		For the SR20, the numbers are lower for the lower hours and no instrument rating, which is opposite of the SR22 and GTS quotes.
		Cirrus encourages lower time pilots to take addendums to their insurance such as if you're below 500TT, you can't take the plane into IMC until you have 100 Time in Type.
