 Comixfan Forums - Warp Savant
Warp Savant is a mutant who, to celebrate his eighteenth birthday, decided to attack the U.S. Army base at Cape Citadel - the same base that Magneto attacked during his first clash with the X-Men.
Warp was a rather unique character to be sure, when they first mentioned his abilities i laughed, he reminded me of a character that i thought up about a year before, although neither male nor the whole tattooed, pierced thing that he had going on.
Warp Savant was stopped by Archangel when he shot him with an electro-magnetic pulse weapon that temporarily shut down his mutant powers.

village voice > books > Supreme: The Story of the Year by Alan Moore, Joe Bennett, and Rick Veitch; Supreme: The Return by Alan Moore, Chris Sprouse, and Rick Veitch by Richard Gehr
Supreme is Moore's big dig, a Möbius-strip time warp looping endlessly between superhero comics' hypermuscular present (female breasts are bigger and better than ever before, too) and their earlier, more modest, naive, and charming incarnations.
Supreme is a thickly muscled, larger-than-life supreme being complete with supersister Suprema, superdog Radar, extra- terrestrial creation myth, citadel of solitude, alliterative archnemesis (Darius Dax) and girlfriends (Judy Jordan and Dana Dane), and secret identity.
Comics may be ultimately disposable, but what Moore has done with the medium's mulch guarantees lasting import.

Captain Comics Round Table -> Successful hero with lamest power
All the way back in Adventure Comics # 331 (Apr., 1965), it was shown that Stone Boy has the ability to localise his super-power to certain portions of his body, when he was shown turning his fist to stone to belt Cosmic King.
However, what is overlooked is that his power also works the other 'way 'round: he can enable the Legion to inflitrate and invade any structure or citadel simply by eating a door in its wall or eating a tunnel underneath and up inside it.

Amazon.com: Zen and the Art of Stand-Up Comedy (Theatre Arts (Routledge Paperback)): Books: Jay Sankey
Toronto-based comedian Sankey may not be a household name, but his how-to book is a worthy complement to Judy Carter's Stand-Up Comedy: The Book (Dell, 1989) and far better than Richard Belzer's slight How To Be a Stand-Up Comic (Citadel, 1992).
Jay Sankey offers aspiring stand-up comics a career's worth of wisdom in Zen and the Art of Stand-Up Comedy.
His Zen references are judiciously sparse, and his conclusion that stand-up comics can learn from Zen about being "in the moment" and staying loose on stage rings true.
