The River City Brass Band is a modified British-style brass band based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The band performed its first concert on November 21, 1981, with its founder Robert Bernat as conductor.
The band annually performs in excess of sixty concerts in the Pittsburgh area, as well as a large number of performances on tour, throughout the United States.

 MPD Police Band
The first public appearance of the Police Band was on May 10, 1898, before the annual convention of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, which was held in the City of Milwaukee.
The Band was at the hanger waiting for Air Force One to land when the President was called back to Washington and the Band never did play for him.
The members of the Milwaukee Police Band continue in their quest as "goodwill ambassadors" to the citizens of Milwaukee, and they cherish the opportunity to do their part in improving the quality of life of this fine city.

The band were the highest placed 1st Section band for the third year running, however the band had hoped to improve on 4th place which they had also achieved the year before.
The band was received by the Mayor at the town hall and Kevin Hughes' continued his holiday romance with the president of the Societe Musicale D'Arpajon as he was asked to receive a medal on behalf of Chichester City band.
The band's competition success started with an Outstanding classification for their performance in the Chichester Music Festival, and the band's ten piece were awarded the Mayor of Chichester's Trophy for the most outstanding performance in the orchestra and band classes of the festival.

 Ashland City Band: Ashland City Band March
Traditionally, the band begins its concerts with an arrangement of George Gershwin's "Strike Up The Band" and finishes its concerts with two John Philip Sousa marches.
The "dog fight" section results in a "band fight." The voicing of the warring factions pits the instruments on the left side of the band "against" the instruments on the right side of the band.
In the repeat of the "band fight" the notes are the same but the parts are reversed.
