 | | After the initial survey, which emphasizes many rules, we shall be ready to turn to in-depth study focusing primarily on four topics: (1) subject-matter jurisdcition in the federal courts; (2) ascertaining applicable law in federal court; (3) personal jurisdiction, process, and venue; and (4) former adjudication. |
