FRANK J. There has been a noticeable movement in recent years of farmers from the high-priced land districts of Illinois not only to the new states of the West, but also to the less developed agricultural area of Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
In the death of James J. [sic] Wilson Monon Township was bereaved of one of its finest citizens, and everywhere the event was deplored and looked upon as the untimely passing of one whose life had been extremely useful to many not only in his own family but in the community in general.
Brown was an uncle of Admiral George Brown, one of the distinguished characters in the American navy.

Born in Urbana, Ohio, he is the son of former US representative Clarence J. Brown, which meant Clancy spent much of his youth in close proximity to Washington, DC.
Brown played a corrupt US soldier in the Walter Hill-directed hyper-violent actioner Extreme Prejudice (1987), another deranged killer in Shoot to Kill (1988) and a brutal prison guard, who eventually somewhat "befriends" wrongfully convicted banker Tim Robbins, in the moving The Shawshank Redemption (1994).
Brown then landed two more plum roles, one as a "tough-as-nails" drill sergeant in the sci-fi thriller Starship Troopers (1997), and the other alongside Robin Williams in the Disney comedy Flubber (1997).

J Lyle Beam, a Port Angeles resident for more than 90 years who was a city official, a civic group leader and well-known businessman, died Saturday in Port Angeles at the age of 95.
Brown came to Port Angeles 32 years ago, first being employed for many years as yard foreman for the Filion Mill company and later and until taken sick a year ago as grinderman for the Washington pulp and Paper Company.
Brown was born March 25, 1877 in Hyde Park, VT, the daughter of James and Emma Baker.
