  The Clarendon Dock
Number 1 Dock was the first major piece of infrastructure completed by The Belfast Harbour Commissioners' predecessors,the Ballast Board.It was constructed on their behalf by William Ritchie,the pioneer of shipbuilding in Belfast,during the period 1796 to 1800.It is the oldest dry dock in Ireland and was used on a commercial basis until the 1960's.
Number 2 dry dock was completed,together with the Clarendon building,in 1826 by Scottish engineer David Logan.The dock is still used by the Harbour Commissioners for the maintanance floating plant and machinery.
The Clarendon building was refurbished by the Harbour Commissioners in 1992 and is currently the headquarters of The Laganside Corporation The dry docks were refurbished in 2001.

 Clarendon Building, Broad Street, Oxford
It only became known as the Clarendon Building after it was adapted by the University for use as a registry in 1832.
The Clarendon Building was then taken over by the Bodleian Library, and it now houses their admissions department and the Victoria County History of Oxfordshire.

Clarendon's police building has a strong paired arches entrance up a buttressed set of steps, with nice sculpted detail on its central stone column…very attractive, unless you were on your way through to the cells out the back.
Clarendon is on the cusp; it's in the Adelaide Hills just before they meld into McLaren Vale and the Fleurieu Peninsula, and so it's easy to wrap into a day trip.
Edward Peake built the steep and triple gabled winery on the hill, and the 1850's building is now a hub - people come for lunch and dinner, weddings and conferences (using the motel rooms with their long views up the river valley), and the tasting cellar is back again.

Since the existing Clarendon Center building on the south block is on the Countywide Historic Properties Survey as significant and is listed as a "contributing building" in the withdrawn National Register nomination for Clarendon, HALRB feels it should be preserved.

It would merge with Fernwood Middle School and use the Fernwood building as its primary site, with the current Hollyrood building serving as a temporary school annex until the transition is complete.
The current Hollyrood building would become a preschool center, phasing in during the transition of the Fernwood building to K-8.
Another goal is for the community to develop a plan to consolidate programs into five of the six currently operating buildings (several of the current school buildings would require significant and expensive upgrades to keep operating into the future).

The Clarendon Laboratory in Oxford, England (not to be confused with the Clarendon Building, also in Oxford) is part of the Physics Department at Oxford University.
The Clarendon is named after Edward Hyde, 1st Earl of Clarendon, whose trustees paid £10,000 for the building of the original laboratory, completed in 1872, making it the oldest purpose-built physics laboratory in England.
The Oxford Electric Bell apparatus (also known as the Clarendon Dry Pile), constructed in 1840, is located in the foyer of the Clarendon Laboratory.
