		This album, though encompassing a wide variety of styles and genres, is ultimately rock music made very, very prettily.
		The album's standout song is "This Cold," whose title belies it's upbeat tempo and radio-ready sound.
		It is the most accessible work on the album and sounds great in a car (especially with the windows down).

		They probably think of the album Bleed American, the big mainstream breakthrough for the Arizona band, which went on to sell over a million copies and spawned four singles.
		Clarity was released to the public early in 1999 on Capitol Records.
		The only thing could be seen as a flaw is that there is quite a lot of repetition (the last song repeats on for 13 minutes), yet in a way it's not really a flaw at all.

		Clarity is one of the most beautiful pieces of art ever created.
		this album, however, showcases much of the subtlety and intelligence that these guys can cram into their sounds, and also shows you a bit of what they used to sound like when they were pretty hugely punk and punk alone.
		It had three songs from the upcoming Clarity- Lucky Denver Mint, For Me This Is Heaven, and Your New Aesthetic (which was an acoustic demo version compared to the straight-forward rock version on Clarity).

		You'll hate it because you won't be as forgiving towards Russell Crowe's pathetic flat voice as his fans obviously are.
		I then discovered that "Gaslight" seems to be this same CD but with a few more songs--don't know if any are missing, I just glanced and moved on when I saw all the duplications.
		No, Russell does not have the best singing voice on the planet, but the songwriting team of Dean Cochrane and Russell Crowe is what pulls this album together.

		He's got a good voice, actually, and his lyrics are certainly one of a kind (How long would it take me to walk across the United States all alone?).

		As soon as I got home I put the CD in and I was enjoying the first two tracks immensely, but then something happened.
		I was expecting the album to be filled with some great Christian Hip Hop hardcore, but it turned into an album filled with Hip Hop softcore.
		The album did have some high points like “Let It Ride,” “Endurance”(but that was ruined with a remix of the song later in the album), “Incline,” the chorus in “Adieu,” and “Big Casino." But the low points out number the high points.

		I would have to say I like the entire album and there is no favorite song....however the only song that didnt hit me and I don't like that much is "Out of Homes".

		Das liegt nicht an der Arbeitsgeilheit der Band, sondern einfach daran, dass der Vorgänger 'Clarity' erst 1,5 Jahre nach der US-VÖ in Deutschland veröffentlicht wurde.
		'Clarity' war ein Meilenstein, ein Manifest der Schönheit und gehört bestimmt bei ziemlich jedem zum festen Inventar, klar dass nun die Ansprüche an den Nachfolger nicht gerade niedrig sind.
		Ich glaube nicht, dass es jemanden gibt, der diese Album ohne eine Gefühlsregung hören kann, besonders nicht, wenn Jim zusammen mit Rachel Haden 'Hear You Me' oder 'My Sundown' intoniert.
