		Clark County is a county located in the U.S. state of Illinois.
		The U.S. Census Bureau estimates the population to decrease by 0.6% from April 1, 2000 to July 1, 2004, to 16,906.
		In the county the population was spread out with 24.90% under the age of 18, 7.40% from 18 to 24, 26.60% from 25 to 44, 23.10% from 45 to 64, and 18.00% who were 65 years of age or older.

		I know that he was in Marion, Linn County, Iowa, on November 16, 1847, because I have a letter that he wrote to his son, Lawrence, Jr., who, at that time, resided in Clark County, Illinois.
