The median income for a household in the county was $26,610, and the median income for a family was $33,396.

If we had time to sample more areas of the park, we would have likely found more species and it is likely that there are at least twice the number that we found in the park.

Following a tip to the CrimeStoppers line, the Clarke County Sheriff's Office discovered an 18 wheeler truck loaded with stolen property from Orleans Parish, LA. The truck was found parked at 208 Walnut St in Pachuta where it had been located since November, 2005.
Kemp went on to comment that "Citizens need to know that their tips to CrimeStoppers do aid in the solving of cases and any time that you feel you have information that could be helpful to law enforcement in solving a case, you should notify law enforcement or call the CrimeStoppers line to remain anonymous."

The Shirley’s of Lauderdale and Clarke County, Mississippi are descendants of Moses Shirley who was born between 1765-1774.
However, in Biographical Memoirs of Mississippi in an article about James Norman Shirley, one of Pinkney’s sons, it is stated that Pinkney was born in South Carolina and brought to Alabama when he was a small child.
He died on July 5, 1907 in Clarke County, MS and is buried in the Mount Zion Baptist Church cemetery.

I am also researching the area of Clarke County Mississippi for information on the connection between the Duvall and the Quimby family of that area.
I do know that the widow of James Quimby who, from all indications, was killed in the Civil War married a Duvall there in Clarke County Mississippi before the time of the 1870 census.
