Introduction to Class Responsibility Collaborator (CRC) Models
A class represents a collection of similar objects, a responsibility is something that a class knows or does, and a collaborator is another class that a class interacts with to fulfill its responsibilities.
Collaboration will be in one of two forms: a request for information or a request to perform a task.
To identify the collaborators of a class for each responsibility ask yourself "does the class have the ability to fulfill this responsibility?".

It’s great to have a network though as I found out that Dean Shareski is teaching a course for the first time this summer as well, so we’ve been doing some planning and trying to come up with a way for our two classes to collaborate on a project.
Dean’s class is an undergraduate course and we thought it would be great to get these soon-to-be-teachers collaborating with experienced teachers from my graduate course.
Of course Dean and I are collaborating setting it up, but it seems natural, to me at least, to be doing such a project and that’s what I hope my students learn.

Gus Hall - The most basic fact of life: the class struggle
Working class ideology and an understanding of the unrelenting class struggle between the exploiters and exploited enables workers to avoid the pitfalls of all the anti-working class ideological trends.
Thus, a working class outlook is shaped by a constantly reinforced understanding on the part of workers that they are not getting a fair shake, that exploitation is unjust and has no moral justification.
The ideology of the capitalist class justifies the use of governmental authority and force in the interests of the few, even when such use is against the best interests of the people as a whole and of the nation.

Class interests and the confrontations of power that they bring in their wake are to Marx the central determinant of social and historical process.
Class interests are fundamentally different from, and cannot be derived from, the individual interests imputed by the utilitarian school and classical British political economy.
Yet self-conscious classes, as distinct from aggregates of people sharing a common fate, need for their emergence a number of conditions among which are a network of communication, the concentration of masses of people, a common enemy, and some form of organization.

To be sure the master class never was conspicuous by its gratitude, as soon as it imagined itself strong enough to rule without the aid of socialists these were discarded, and their governments turned over to the underworld characters, to gangsters parading in differently colored shirts.

4.6 Elementary Method "Class Responsibility Collaboration" (CRC)
During the methodical check or during the detection of the class responsibilities with the help of a CRC method it is also possible to identify such tasks that are to be processed in collaboration with other classes that possibly have to be specially created.
When applying the CRC method, class candidates have to be defined first, together with a first specification of the corresponding responsibilities and the actions to be executed by the objects of this class.
The class collaboration is discussed during the meetings, normally this results in new classes and additions, regroupings and specifications of existing classes.
