  Quebec - Mariages - Drouin Bleu/Gros Drouin
Around 1930-1940, Drouin Institute invested $ 1.5 million to microfilm all vital records of Quebec and to produce this dictionary which was for a while the main asset of the company.
The clerks hired for that work often reproduced the records as is. The result is that there are many typos.
Some marriages before 1765 are only in the Red Drouin.

Claude Joseph Faille's uncle, Mathew Faye dit Lafayette, the son of Claude and Marie Sullier b-1641 at St. Jean, diocese of Clermont, Auvergne, was married to Marguerite Francoise Maureau, the daughter of Francois and Francoise Gardien of St. Sulpice, Paris, on 30, Sept. 1670.
Claude Faye, the Canadian, is therefore the grandson of Claude Faye and Marie Sullier.

P.C. Drouin seems to be enjoying the captaincy of the Nottingham Panthers in the absencee of Joel Poirier.
Drouin scored twice to lead the Panthers to a 3-1 win over arch-rivals the Sheffield Steelers, the two goals took Drouin total to five goals in two games while being captain.
The Panthers increased their lead when Brown was sent to the cooler, again the powerplay was allowed to set up and again it was Drouin who fired home this time the good work was done by Claude Savoie (on his return from suspension) and new signing Christain Sjogren.

According to the AFGS Web site, the Drouin Institute microfilmed a large quantity of Catholic and non-Catholic parish records from which they produced the red Drouin books, as well as another series called the blue Drouin books.
It appears that she must have had access to the red Drouin books (or saw the original records), because the information on the pedigree matches the information on the CD in every detail.

Jean-Pierre Pepin of Longueuil, QC bought the defunct 'Drouin Institute' from the founders' grandson, Claude Drouin about five years ago.
Included in the purchase was the entire microfilm collection of parish registers for the Province of Quebec, some from the Province of Ontario, the Maritimes, Acadia, some notarial acts and hundreds of other documents.
As much as we wanted to purchase this film collection five years ago, we opted to 'wait and see.' The Pepin version of the digitized Drouin microfilm collection is here.
