Claudette Bradshaw, PC, (born April 8, 1949) is a former Canadian politician who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for the riding of Moncton—Riverview—Dieppe, New Brunswick.
Claudette Bradshaw was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Cooperation and Minister Responsible for the Francophonie on June 10, 1997.On November 23, 1998, she was appointed to cabinet as Minister of Labour.
Bradshaw later announced she was not interested in re-entering electoral politics but was appointed as special advisor to leader Shawn Graham for that election campaign.

Bradshaw's support (My emails to Ms Bradshaw 14 August 2000 and 29 September 2001) but as of date I have not received a negative or positive respond in regards to my concern and that is the release of the census.
Bradshaw does not specifically state her support for the proposed legislation, it is expected that since it will be a government Bill, and she is a member of the Federal Cabinet, her vote will be supportive.

New Brunswick Liberal MP and cabinet minister Claudette Bradshaw announced Friday that she will not run in the next federal election, making her one of several prominent politicians who have decided to get out of politics.
Bradshaw, who has served as federal labour minister and the minister in charge of homelessness, said she wants to spend more time with her family.
Bradshaw told a radio station in Moncton that when she first got into federal politics she didn't plan to stay for more than 10 years.

Bradshaw probing port problem VANCOUVER (CKNW/980) -- Federal Labour Minister Claudette Bradshaw is in Vancouver to discuss the dispute which has forced the closure of ports around B.C. Bradshaw will be meeting with the B.C. Maritime Employer's Associaton, which has locked out the longshoremen's union.
The move is considered an important first step in ending the lockout because it'll give Bradshaw a first-hand look at the problem.
As for the province, Employment and Investment Minister Mike Farnworth says that the ports are federal jurisdiction and the province hasn't been invited to take part in negotiations.

On Tuesday, federal Labour Minister Claudette Bradshaw named Halifax lawyer Bruce Outhouse as mediator in the dispute between Air Canada and its pilots.
The special, independent mediator was urged by Bradshaw last week to prevent a strike or lockout at the airline.
At the urging of Bradshaw, the pilots and the airline agreed on July 18 to pursue a special mediator process.

 National Union seeks ILO investion of B.C. and Ontario
James Clancy, president of the 325,000-member National Union of Public and General Employees, made the requests this week in letters to Juan Somavia, director-general of the United Nations labour agency in Geneva, and to Claudette Bradshaw, Canada's federal labour minister.
In his letter to Bradshaw, Clancy says the government of Canada has a duty, as a signatory to ILO labour conventions, to put pressure on both provinces to conform to international standards.
Last month the Governing Body of the International Labour Organization (ILO) found the governments of British Columbia and Ontario to be in clear violation of Canada’s obligations under ILO Conventions.
