		The Clayton Family of Middlewich and Concordia Parish LA Capt. John M. Clayton, CSA, coming home from the War between the States, homesteaded a piece of property in Concordia Parish, LA between the Tensas and Mississippi Rivers, a few miles from Natchez; it was at a town called Trivia.
		Clayton was a member of a family that came from Middlewich Eng in 1682 and lived successively in PA, DE, NC, GA, AL and MS before coming to LA shortly before the Civil War.
