		On Clean Heth has taken his streetwise, urban, upbringing and encapsulated it in to a masterpiece of glittering, romantic notes and consoling words.
		Clean kicks off with "Falling Together" which is all rippling sunbursts of synth and acoustic guitar.
		Heth has crisp clean vocals and the overall vibe is upbeat and positive even when addressing lost love as in 'My Headphones', which includes visually expressive lyrics, textured guitars, seasoned synths and a subtle beat that completes the story’s soundscape.

		So while this album may be heavier, the clean vocals they do have are just not done as well as the stuff off of "Obsession", and hence I'd prefer an album that is slightly less heavier but good sounding clean vocals vs heavier and bad sounding clean vocals.
		If you're a metal purist who hates clean vocals invading your screams, this band will not be for you, but if you're into bands like the Deftones or Filter but with a little bit of added heaviness, these guys are worth checking into.
		Their previous album, while it had plenty of sung vocals in it, was a masterpiece of complex, razorsharp guitarwork, a fantastic combination of thrash and something more melodic.

		Her extreme, raspy vocals are certainly impressive, in that you'd never know a female was making these sounds, and anyone into extreme vocals that dismissed this album for fear of the vocals should think again.
		On the other hand, the music is much more suited to clean, or at least less extreme, vocals, and I for one would have preferred Angela to sing is a clean tone (assuming she can, that is).
		Tough but clean female vocals along the lines of Pat Benetar or Melissa Etheridge would be a unique change, and no doubt a gamble for the band, but ultimately would have worked better (in my opinion).

		Someway into the track one finds a narrative style vocal which, I feel, doesn't contribute to the mood of the piece but thereafter both the music and vocals coalesce in rising fervour as they almost mimic the apparition of tranquility before a clash of wills and it's a pity this area wasn't developed more.
		As a first full CD The Tears of Odin's Fallen is a brave production which combines effective vocals and musical styles that may hint to a group who are, in a manner, developing their sound and the canvas upon which to colour with subsequent compositions.

		Both are great, but i listen to clean vocals when i get overdosed with growls.

		The combination of death metal and industrial music with occasional clean vocals was fairly revolutionary at the time of recording and it proved to be an effective formula for this band.
		As their career progressed, the band dropped the death metal vocals completely and resorted to either yelling or clean singing.
		The only negative aspect on Concrete is the relatively weak sound of Burton C. Bell’s clean vocals when compared to the band’s more recent material—however, this doesn’t detract much from the overall sound.

		Lamb of God-“Walk With Me In Hell”-The vocals on this are just too far down in that growly range for me. I love the music to, though, and fans of Lamb of God should like it.
		Drowning Pool-“No More”-This starts off clean and crisp, and then the vocals kick in sounding like Soundgarden, and then later in the chorus you get a riff that I could sing the words to the chorus of Soil’s Halo in perfect time to.
		Clean vocals start off in the singer’s rich tone, and then heads into the heavier riffs.

		Vocals are hard to get right but if you put in the time and effort to study up on the subject you'll be farther ahead than many.
		I'm trying to get my vocals up to 100%, even without the vocals peaking i get some interferance and in some areas it sounds moffed.
		These too are all good suggestions, but should only be tried after the vocal sound has been properly recorded.
