		ESA and Starsem, the company responsible for the Soyuz-Fregat launcher, are merging the results of their parallel investigations and recovery measures to define a new launch date in the shortest timeframe.

		The sound is still somewhat cleaned up from what you'll hear on Cleaners' cassettes, but not so much so that it gets in the way of the songs.
		Some of Newell's most jubilant ("Let's Get Married") and gleefully silly ("I Was a Teenage Idiot Dancer") writing is here; "The Beat Generation and Me" is one of the best examples of his ability to write about the icons of the past with bittersweet nostalgia that steers clear of revivalism.

		During the 1980s he led a band called The Cleaners From Venus, who mostly released their work on cassettes (see Cassette culture) outside the traditional music distribution channels.
		He is better known to some as a poet and author; he has released several volumes of poetry (often in collaboration with James Dodds) and a memoir called This Little Ziggy, about his youth and his days in The Mighty Plod, a Colchester-based glam band in the 1970s.

		When Cleaners from Venus were winding down toward the end of the 1980s, chief Cleaner Martin Newell started a similar project, the Brotherhood of Lizards, with bassist Nelson (no last name).
		The personnel may have been different, but the music was essentially the same: ringing guitars, droll English lyrics, inventive production quirks.
		There were only a couple of releases before Nelson left to join New Model Army; Newell began a solo career that was also essentially similar to his Cleaners from Venus output.
