Most of the taller masts are located in the United States, where a prevalence of masts of around 2000 feet (609.6 m) in height is the result of special rules in that country limiting structures and objects taller than 2000 feet.
The Petronius Compliant Tower is an oil platform standing 2100 ft or 640 m (to the top of the spire) and is the tallest non-guyed structure in existence but is mostly underwater.

The second tallest structure in Nevada is the Stratosphere Tower near downtown Las Vegas, which was erected in 1994-96 and reaches 1149 ft (350 m) and 921 ft (281 m) without the mast.
The station went dark in 1991 and the tower was sold to a religious broadcaster in South Carolina to be used as two separate 800 ft towers.
The WVAH tower of 1551 ft (473 m) at Scott Depot collapsed around 10:15 am on February 19, 2003 due to excessive loading from ice during a winter storm.

It is a fact that the Fox and UPN TV stations as well as all the Clear Channel radio stations are moving out to what used to be the Burlington Coat Factory building (aka Oertle's...webmaster).
Clear Channel is doing much the same thing in other markets where they have a Fox affiliate, Minneapolis was the most recent.
Channel 8's red-lit tower was out east of them long before, and I think 2 and 6 now share another tower, south of the others.

So that said, perhaps its not the subchannel combo thing that has anything to do with it but whether or not the main channel is broadcasting in HD at the moment.......
The timers seem to function and record the correct HD channel, but during the record the 921 also thinks that a sat tuner is in use for the phony channel.
The result is they are able to broadcast both channels in the same bit stream and our 921 doesn't know what the heck to do with it at the moment when you tell it to record as their are actually 2 channels present.

If you are still missing guide data for some/all of your OTA digital channels, please post where you are, and the channel (name and number) that you don't have correct or any data for.
Other NY channels such as WNET and a bunch of minor channels (carried by DISH in the 8000's) are also missing.
Just to be absolutely clear about this, if you do not subscribe to your Dish locals package, you will not see any guide data for your OTA channels.

Irv Johnson at KOKI says there may be a plan in the future to park all of the Clear Channel radio and TV stations in a shared campus in Tulsa.
Also in late 1986 or early '87, channel 41, then known as KGCT, was slated to be Tulsa's Fox network, but the night it was to change to Fox, it never did.
Then a few months later an ice storm knocked down a tower that channels 41, and 8 were using I think along with a few radio stations.

Sometimes it is also possible that you are experiencing multipath issues (but in your case, it appears that your other digital receivers are okay.) Furthermore, you could also be experiencing FM interference, if the tower is broadcasting FM and HDTV content simultaneously.
Odd thing is that the OnAir tuner locks in on 9-1 and 9-2 when I scan, the signal read-out shows a consistent 29-30db (higher than most of the other channels), and the EPG shows information but I get no picture or sound.
We have determined that the problem you are seeing is due to the unique way that WGN broadcasts their video and audio.

Those three last channels are after channel 116 which is some kind of signal strength monitor but before channel 2 the guide channel.
I don't know what channel numbers they are because my mits 52725 only shows the call letters and program info not channel number.
So when I can get all the other channels 19 is to the rear of the antenna so if I watch it I just watch it on the DirecTV local channels since it's not in HD anyway.
