The 2003 population estimate [1] for the county is 181,743.
Warren County was erected May 1, 1803 from Hamilton County, and named for Dr. Joseph Warren, a hero of the Revolution who sent Paul Revere on his ride and who died at the Battle of Bunker Hill.
Section 1--That all that part of the county of Butler lying and being within the first and second fractional townships in the fifth range, and adjoining the south line of Montgomery County, shall be and the same is hereby attached to and made part of the county of Warren.

Last month, a male Montgomery County sheriff's deputy was charged with two counts of sexual battery after he had sex with a female prisoner while transporting her from the Warren County Jail to the Montgomery County Jail.
The man was in the Warren County Jail from Jan. 8 to April 26 and was sent to the Chillicothe Correctional Institute after the alleged incident occurred.

Thomas A. Raga (born 1965) is an American politician of the Republican Party who represents the Sixty-seventh District (Warren County) in the Ohio House of Representatives.
On March 7, 2000, he won a three-way primary against attorney and former Mason mayor Betty Davis and Clearcreek Township trustee Ed Wade to replace Republican state representative George E. Terwilleger, who was forced to retire because of Ohio's term limits.
Davis had the backing of former Warren County representative Corwin M. Nixon, Terwilleger's predecessor and Republican leader in the Ohio House for years.
