		Clearwater was incorporated as a town in 1891 and James E. Crane became the town's first mayor [2].
		Clearwater was reincorporated, this time as a city, on May 27, 1915, and made the county seat for Pinellas County, which broke from Hillsborough County in 1912.
		The City of Clearwater is administered by a Council-Manager form of government, and the City Manager serves as the Chief Executive and Administrative Officer of the City.

	Bright House Networks Field - Clearwater, Florida
		Bright House Networks Field replaced Jack Russell Stadium as the spring home of the Phillies and summer home of the Clearwater Florida State League franchise in 2004.
		It is located just off of the busy Route 19, which makes access quite a bit easier than at Jack Russell Stadium.
		Bright House Networks Field is certainly a huge upgrade from the outdated Jack Russell Stadium.
