  vogelsang ip - The Past
Ley chose Clemens Klotz, a party friend from Cologne, as the architect.
Klotz was also in charge of planning for the Crössinsee “Ordensburg” in Pomerania (Poland) and the DAF holiday complex in Prora on the island of Rügen, which was, however, never completed.
The Vogelsang complex was to be understood as a symbol of the rule of state and party over nature and great trouble was taken to create a relief effect on the hillside where it is located.

Architectural Review, The: Bidding for Prora - vacation housing for Third Reich workers in Rugen, Germany - Marginalia
Prora, the largest executed building of the Third Reich, was designed by a favoured architect of Hitler, Clemens Klotz (1886-1961).
The largely farcical competition produced very similar results, due to the design requirement that all bedrooms were to be orientated towards the sea and restrictions on all building over five storeys high.
The dormitories, the principal element of the design, were divided into four wings, each 500 metres long and intersected with auxiliary buildings five storeys high, containing various functions such as catering areas, reading rooms, billiard rooms and cafes.
