Clement Edward Davies (February 19, 1884–March 23, 1962) was a UK politician and leader of the Liberal Party between 1945 and 1956.
Despite having left it for a decade and with lingering suspicions that his commitment to Liberalism was less than full, Davies became leader of the Liberal Party in 1945 after Archibald Sinclair lost his seat in the electoral debacle that reduced the Liberals to 12 seats.
Davies led the once powerful Liberals during its lowest period when it had been reduced to a minor party due to the electorate's polarisation between the Labour and the Conservatives, and the classic 'A Liberal vote is a wasted vote' argument never held truer than in the 1950s.

It is arguable that this is the biography of a minor Leader of the Liberal Party, which had itself become a minor party when Clement Davies led it—but then his political life coincided with major national and international events, from the 1931 crisis to the Suez disaster.
After the formation of the National Government and the ensuing General Election in 1931, he joined the Liberal Nationals, led by Sir John Simon, and was re-elected unopposed by the Conservatives, as was the case again in 1935.
This being the only biography of Clement Davies, the author need not fear competition, but it is obvious that he did not take advantage of the monopoly situation which he enjoys.

I totally agree with Tara!Or maybe one of the pups could try and find Fell and the story of what happened to their sister, and maybe they could have a power!
But if there ever were to be a sequal, I think that Davies should think up the plot himself.
but if your writing like a fan-fic, which is like your own continued version of the story, (still giving full credit to davies for characters, setting, names, ect.) you should write aboout Fells travesl after all that.

The mark is a suitable device for a prophesied deer, as we cannot reasonably expect a deer to pull a sword from a stone.
Davies dresses up the Biblical and Arthurian elements by borrowing directly from J.R.R Tolkien's treatment of Aragorn, the prophesied King whose hands were those of a healer.
Rannoch, the fawn in question, like his analogue Aragorn, is prophesied to be "born a healer and a King."

Gardner's foul on Zoltan Gera gave Albion a free-kick in a promising position, only for Neil Clement to blast his shot into the wall.
Spurs defensive wall again did its job when Davies fouled Kanu 19 yards out, standing firm to block Gera's shot, and earn the chance to take the Baggies back to White Hart Lane for a replay.

posts on 11/9/2005 12:21:03 AM Larka fan, I personally think that davies books dont need sequals.
I thin Davies should write a book on Fell and Morga's travels.
I also think he should write about Fenris and Tor, Sita, Fren, the red meadow, and what was happening before Huttser's pack fled from Morga.

However over the next ten years there would be further defections as MPs deserted to either the National Liberals or Labour.
There were however a few recruits, such as Clement Davies, who had deserted to the National Liberals in 1931 but now returned to the party during the Second World War and who would lead it after the war.
Samuel had lost his seat in the 1935 election and the leadership of the party fell to Sir Archibald Sinclair.
