The Clee Hills are a range of hills in Shropshire, England, consisting of Brown Clee Hill (540m), the highest peak in Shropshire, and Titterstone Clee Hill (533m).
To the east are the Clent Hills and the spread of the West Midlands, and on a clear day it is possible to see the high-rise flats in Dudley.
The hills seem to form a "gateway" from the built up areas of the West Midlands to the hills and rural landscape of Wales and are at the heart of the Welsh Marches.

The largest of the Clent Hills is Walton Hill which is just over 1000 feet (315 metres) high.
Clent Hill is slightly lower than 1000 feet and smaller, but it seems larger than Walton Hill because much more of it is open to the public.
They are seperated by a valley known as St Kenelm's Pass, which starts as an escarpment one side of which along with the sides of the two hills falls away towards Uffmoor Wood water flowing down this slope enters streams which become the River Stour.

I was quite bemused as I went past the hill I had previously assumed to be Clent and had a view of from my old office at Merry Hill.
It was actually very slippery in the areas that had not been exposed to the sun, and I was glad to be wearing a 'proper' pair of boots.
On entering the woodland there were two choices of routes up the hill, you could either take a treacherous looking set of steps up the hillside, or a winding path.
