While the music was good, I was turned of by the blatant mimickry of bands like Radiohead and Coldplay; I'd like to see Climber develop a more unique presence.
If you've seen and heard the live show, the CD is not an accurate representation of that sound.

Ice Climber was distributed for the Nintendo in 1984, so even if you want to complain about some of the gameplay aspects, you really can't: the technology wasn't there yet.
What we have here is an old, simple game that, if nothing else, serves as a reminder of how we got to where we are today in the gaming industry.
As previously said, the Ice Climbers are back in focus due to their inclusion in Super Smash Melee.

The two-joystick control scheme took a little bit of practice, but once players got used to it, it was a major and unique part of the game's appeal.

On the other hand, when it is known that a pure hill climber like Virenque is on the attack in the mountains, the GC riders don't generally mount much of a chase group unless he seems poised to attain an insurmountable lead in GC.
The problem with comparing GC riders with pure climbers is that GC riders choose not to make their goal the polka dot jersey.
