		Clock Dva are a futuristic project invariously described by the press as 'cyber punk, techno, electronic, trance", etc., with a glorious past and a brilliant future.
		It was 1978 when he founded Clock Dva with his best friend Steven Turner, taking the bands name from Anthony Burgess' novel "A Clockwork Orange" and giving it a meaning of "temporal deviation".

		Although in Russian dva is pronounced "dee-vah", Adi pronounces it "dee-veh" which is evident in the song "1.23." During that same year, former partners Ware and Marsh had another band in the works called the British Electronic Foundation and released a cassette called Music For Stowaways.
		At this point, Clock DVA had become a high commodity as far as underground bands go and was quickly signed to a major label, Polydor Records.
		Apparently, Clock DVA was becoming too much of a 'big thing' for Adi who was becoming frustrated with the hype and commercial direction that was being laid out for the band.

	Industrial Records
		Industrial Records was established in 1976 by art/music group Throbbing Gristle.
		The group, fronted by Genesis P-Orridge, were to release their experiments in non-entertainment sound and multimedia through the label; in addition to a host of other artists on the periphery of the music business including Clock DVA and The Leather Nun, plus outrage artist Monte Cazazza and the author William S. Burroughs.
		One of the most incongruous releases on the Industrial Records label was a version of the blues standard Stormy Weather sung by Elisabeth Welsh, taken from the soundtrack of Derek Jarman's film The Tempest.
