Clonbur’s shooting was poor and it never seemed that anything went right for them on the day.
Clonbur Ladies will put this defeat behind them and they will be back next year as they are a young side with plenty of talent.
Clonbur came out in the second half and Aidan OMalley put the ball in the Cliften net which gave Clonbur the lead and from that on Clonbur took control.

To mark the occasion there was a function in Burkes, Clonbur which was attended by their family, friends, and neighbours.
She was nee Connelly from Rosmuck and was predeceased by her husband Jimmy in 1995 and her daughter Mary B. in 1998.
At half time score Spiddal were ahead by 1-6 to Clonbur 0-4, but Clonbur played a storming second half and won in the end by five points.

Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltachta Affairs, announced today that he has been informed by Eircom that it is hoped to provide ISDN service in Clonbur by next April.
At present Clonbur is served from Cong, a distance of 6 kilometres.Consequently, this means that there are a lot of people in the Clonbur area who cannot avail of ISDN services, said the Minister.
Eircom have now completed the site work for the new cabinet (this is the shell in which the new exchange will fit) and the ESB connection is completed.
