Clonkeen is frequently mistaken for CBC's younger, less athletic, sexually frustrated brother.
Although most of this is correct, Clonkeen is more like CBC's cousin who grew up in the country but for some reason insists that they should live in Dublin and spend their days complaining about how there's no spuds and how everybody plays rugby instead of hurling and gaelic

Clonkeen hurling coaches Ciarán Collins, Mary Ryan and Frank Hayes attended the function along with David’s family.

By the time the film was released, Quinn had been cast as Mark Healy in the third series of Roseanne (1990-97), the sitcom starring Roseanne Barr and John Goodman as parents bringing up a working- class family in Illinois.
