Leonardo da Vinci, lived at the Clos Luce, in Loire Valley, the last happy years of his life, surrounded by admiration, fondness and friendship of the King Francois 1.
In this charming manor house of Clos Luce, he happily continued to paint, sketch, and work as an engineer, architect, and festival organizer for the King Francois 1 court in Amboise.

Clos Triguedina, great Cahors wines from Jean-Luc Baldes
But I have to be honest and tell you that a few weeks ago the telephone rang: it was a Frenchman from Clos Triguedina, one of the most highly regarded of Cahors estates, calling to tell me that the traditional fl wine was being produced at the property.
All you and I are allowed to know is that the grapes, which must be in perfect condition to withstand such heating, are hand-picked in Triguedina's oldest and finest vineyard and "five minutes later" the must is heated in modern stainless steel to "less than 60C for less than half an hour".
But my work obliges me to behave with humility, it is nature that rules in the vineyard, my job is to be aware of the consumer’s needs and remarks, and to be ready to satisfy those demands.
