A club wishing to accept entries for breeds which are neither AKC registrable nor eligible for the Miscellaneous Class would be required to submit a list of such breeds at the time that the match application is submitted to The American Kennel Club for approval.
In addition, the club will be required to have a breed standard, approved by a foreign registry or a national breed club in the United States, available at the match.
The club would also be responsible for ensuring that the judges of the breeds involved, as well as the Novice Obedience judges, receive copies of the standards for these breeds well in advance of the match.
