Farmington Township is a township in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, United States.
In the township the population was spread out with 25.6% under the age of 18, 7.1% from 18 to 24, 26.4% from 25 to 44, 28.8% from 45 to 64, and 12.1% who were 65 years of age or older.
The median income for a household in the township was $31,375, and the median income for a family was $34,219.

 CLYMER---LOOKING BACK
At that time, Clymer was the largest town in Cherryhill Township, with a population of 2,000 "made up largely of Americans." Two hotels, the Neeley and the "Clymer House," and several boarding houses served those without a permanent home.
As Clymer "is only a little over ten miles away," several persons complained to the operators that the cost was "excessive." A year later, trolley schedules were adapted to oblige travelers wishing to make connections with all "steam railroads" at either end of the line.
Clymer's miners have had a long history of union organization; one "gala day" in 1911 celebrated the visit of John Mitchell, Patrick Gilday, John White, and several other officials and organizers of the United Mine Workers of America.

Clymer was for many years a member of the church, but withdrew some years since ; they had eight children, seven living - Mark A., Jonathan O., Roxie A., Jane, Davis, Frank and Ophelia.
In 1827, he was born in this township, a son of C. Elsbree, one of the oldest of the resident settlers n the township; her marriage was celebrated in December, 1852, after which they located on the place where she now lives.

Clymer, a grandson of George Clymer, signer of the Declaration of Independence, and his wife, did much to encourage settlers to locate in Clymer Township and many stories are told of their kindness and generosity toward any worthy settlers who, through crop failure, sickness or any other unavoidable cause, were unable to meet their obligations.
Clymer Township Grade School is under the principalship of Herbert Michaels, assisted by Mesdames Doris Griffin, Myra Hancock, Ethel Balch, Alberta Patterson and Leah Douglass.
Clymer Baptist Church was organized in March 1869 in the Methodist Church in the Ackley school district, by Rev. William Owen, evangelist.

A fire in June that wrecked the Heilwood Sportsmen's Club in Pine Township fit the pattern of some of the other fires that were deliberately started, but Trooper Robert Valyo, a fire investigator at the Indiana station, said then it had not been determined that that fire was the work of the same arsonist.

The township was named after Thomas Wilson Dorr, an attorney from Rhode Island, who was elected governor in 1842 by reformers under their People's Constitution.
To raise $250 for highway purposes, and $15 for wolf-bounties.
That for school purposes, fifty cents be raised on each child in the township between the age of four and eighteen years.

From a parliamentary procedure stand point there was a technical problem on some of the things that the township has done in the past where there wasn't actually an affirmative vote or a proper motion or a motion seconded because of everyone's participation in the discussion.
Supervisor Bourke announced that the Township received a letter from the Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance (NEPA) informing us that they are doing a survey for transportation needs for Monroe County and that a package from them should be here tomorrow and it will be posted in lobby.
The Township sent out letters to the donators and participants and in that letter there is a sentence that states "No Political Agenda's will be allowed".

In 1844 his parents moved to Potter county, and settled in Hector township, where he was reared, and on reaching manhood he embarked in the lumber business, his father having purchased a saw-mill and a quantity of timber land in Hector and Ulysses townships.
In 1844 the township of Hector had but thirty-six voters in it, and Cornelius Loucks was elected constable and collecter for a dozen years or more in succession.
His parents came to Hector Township, Potter Co., Penn., and located on the farm now owned by Clarence Stiles, where the father was a lumberman and farmer, and where they both died.
