A Bishop is the ecclesial leader of a diocese.
A Bishop Emeritus is a bishop that is no longer acting as the leader of the diocese due to advanced age, ill health, etc. According to Canon Law (401§1) bishops are required to submit their resignations upon reaching the age of 75 which can then be accepted (or not) by the Holy Father.
Bishops that are not the ordinary of a diocese, are assigned a "Titular See", which are historical dioceses that are no longer in existance.

Bishops, priests, and deacons serve the whole church in positions of leadership, but in the Episcopal Church bishops play a special role in the governance of their dioceses, in the national church, and in the world-wide Anglican Communion.
The bishop's consecration vow is to “conform to the doctrine, discipline, and worship of the Episcopal Church” (BCP, 513).
Bishops are thus the lynchpin in an interlocking system constructed from a confession of belief, a commitment to Scripture, and conformity to a shared tradition, all of which work in concert to hold the whole Church together.

Coadjutor bishop - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A coadjutor bishop (or bishop coadjutor) is a bishop in the Roman Catholic or Anglican churches who is designated to succeed the current bishop of a diocese.
Unlike auxiliary bishops, coadjutors are given the automatic right of succession to the episcopal see, meaning that when the diocesan bishop they are assisting dies, retires, resigns, or is reassigned, the coadjutor automatically becomes the next bishop of the particular church.
In some provinces of the Anglican Communion, a bishop coadjutor (the form usually used) is a bishop elected or appointed to follow the current diocesan bishop upon the incumbent's death or retirement.
