	North Ossetia (Russia)
		According to the Law of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania relative to the coat of arms of the Rep. of NO-A of the 24 November 1994, No.521, the coat of arms is a disk gules with a snow leopard passant or with sable spots on a ground or with as background seven mountains argent.
		The flag of North Ossetia is quite the same as of the South Ossetian : white - red - yellow.
		Situated in the extreme north of the republic, Mozdok is connected to the rest of North Ossetia by a narrow isthmus.

		Under the agreement, Abkhazia would be allowed to write a constitution, form a parliament, and maintain other symbols of independence such as a flag, anthem, and coat of arms in return for remaining part of Georgia.
		The November elections were not held in the secessionist regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, where sporadic clashes continued to occur.
		In November Abkhazia adopted its own constitution and declared itself to be the Republic of Abkhazia, drawing denouncements from Georgian leadership who claimed the move violated the April agreement.
