Cobb County is a (A region created by territorial division for the purpose of local government) county located in the (The way something is with respect to its main attributes) state of (A state in southeastern United States; one of the Confederate states during the American Civil War) Georgia.
In the county the population is spread out with 26.10% under the age of 18, 9.00% from 18 to 24, 36.50% from 25 to 44, 21.50% from 45 to 64, and 6.90% who are 65 years of age or older.

Cobb County has one of the largest Magistrate Courts in Georgia and is one of the very few courts in the United States that operates 24 hours a day.
One of the primary responsibilities of this court is to issue arrest warrants followed by the determination of probable cause in criminal cases.

Cobb County was created from Cherokee County on Dec. 3, 1832 by an act of the General Assembly (Ga. Laws 1832, p.
However, the new county was not able to function as a county because of its size and the fact that Cherokee Indians still occupied portions of the land.
The Dec. 3, 1832 act creating Cobb County provided for election of county officers in March 1833, with the newly elected judges of the inferior court authorized to select the site of the county seat and provide for erection of a courthouse and other public buildings.

In 2004 Cobb County GIS, DOT and Water System jointly funded a CORS network installation to facilitate the collection of data on the common datum of Georgia State Plane Coordinates, West Zone.
Cobb County’s three stations were accepted and on March 8, 2005 the values were sent to Cobb County by NGS and the stations were listed as new stations on the NGS Cooperative CORS web page for the state of Georgia.
In addition to static data availability, Cobb County will be offering subscriptions to the RTK component of the network to those interested in this aspect of the network.

The Cobb County Radio Control Modelers Club (CCRC) was founded in 1962 and became a chartered club #736 of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), District V. Today, the CCRC is one of the larger AMA chartered clubs with over 300 members.
The Cobb County Sports Aviation Complex (the CCRC facility), is supported by the Cobb County Parks and Recreation Department and sports both paved and grass runways, a seperate helicopter and control-line flying areas and a covered pit area that can accomodate 18 fixed-wing and 9 rotary-wing pre-flight work benches.
