The chair of Cobourg's environmental committee told his council Monday night that an education campaign regarding lawn pesticides and fertilizers is underway.
Many Ontario communities are adopting a "pesticide free" approach to lawn care on municipal properties, and encouraging homeowners to do the same, he said.
