Cocktail is inferior to other Cruise vehicles of this era, but that hardly matters.

When I saw Tom Cruise trying to flip liquor bottles around in COCKTAIL, like a skilled and experienced juggler (as though doing so was natural and easy for him and something he did a lot often) I suddenly saw right through Cruise completely.
Not half as good an actor as he tried to comport himself as and not half as good looking as he tried to strut himself about as.
