Codsall Wanderers Legion Football club was the new name for the start of the 2005-2006 season, but the Legion was dropped as the LFC is the general abbreviation for a ladies football club.
Codsall's 4 year history have seen them receive consecutive promotions and now apply there football to the Telford Sunday league division two.

I noticed on your family tree that you had a William CLIFT who was married to Mary from Oaken, Codsall and they had John, Daniel, Thomas, Mary, Joseph and Ann CLIFT who were all baptised in Codsall.
I know Thomas CLIFT was definately baptised in Codsall and that his parents were William CLIFT and Mary of Oaken, Codsall.

 Bowling green given reprieve : Express & Star
Members of Codsall Bowling Club, built in 1921, are delighted after being given an eleventh hour reprieve by Peter Maddox Associates.
The green is part of a larger site in Codsall which had been left in limbo after previous developers, who pledged to transform the area with a housing estate, went into receivership.
Codsall Bowling Club run 11 teams a week, and several players have participated at county level.

The object was seen first by my wife as she looked through our rear patio door while she was ironing in the living room at about 1300hrs BST.
Once it was in view, it stayed in view until it was too far away to be seen even using 10 x 50 binoculars.
The object, when first seen by my wife, was at about 40o to 50o elevation roughly NNE of Codsall, a dormitory village next to Wolverhampton and on the edge of the West Midlands conurbation.
