On January 7, 1997, the Band amended its complaint to seek a declaration on the validity of both contracts. The Band asserted that neither of the contracts had received either tribal council or BIA approval as required by the Band's corporate charter. On January 15, 1997, the Band moved to stay the circuit court proceedings.
The Band contends that the circuit court erred by failing to give full faith and credit to the tribal court judgment, which concluded that the employment contracts between Teague and the Band were unenforceable because they lacked the requisite BIA and tribal council approval under the Band's corporate charter.
Moreover, the Band's attorneys claim that the tribal court was fully advised of the fact that litigation involving these issues was pending before the Ashland County Circuit Court, that the circuit court judge had declined to stay the proceedings, and, at least by inference, was intending to complete the litigation pending before it.

Coercion (disambiguation) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the social sciences, coercion is any human activity that reduces the set of another person’s feasible choices by applying physical force or threat of such toward that person.
In linguistics, coercion is when the grammatical context causes the language-user to reinterpret all or parts of the semantic and/or formal features of a lexeme that appears in it.

He is correct that coercion is the one economic good that must be used morally, he is wrong to deduce from this fact that this implies that the government can be trusted with it.
Coercion has a place in social life, but it must be kept in place; and the market is not the institution to do this.
Its use of coercion must be determined solely by rules derived from the appropriate moral principles; and it must operate in accordance with such rules without taking into consideration any individual or collective desires to the contrary.

The Band moved to dismiss, arguing that the arbitration agreement was unenforceable because it stated that disputes over termination should be submitted for arbitration under chapter 788, Wisconsin Statutes, which does not apply to contracts between employers and employees.
The Band then amended its answer, adding the affirmative defense that the 1995 contract was not valid because it did not have the approval of the tribal council and the United States Secretary of the Interior as required by the Band's corporate charter.
Then, in December 1996, the Band filed a complaint in the Bad River Tribal Court seeking a declaration on the validity of the 1995 contract, reasserting its claim that the contract lacked the requisite approval of the Tribal Council.

Coercion's material on _Lifework_, much as can be found on their 1997 release _Forever Dead_ (which was my first exposure to this band), is emphatically catchy both in style and form.
Coercion is constantly pushing the envelope on this record without reducing its stranglehold on their aggressive approach and keeping the listener engaged with tempo changes and unexpected riffs.
It's heartening therefore to see bands like Canada's Into Eternity display the talent and gumption to fuse diverse elements into their barbaric incantations, and while their combination of Floridian death and progressive power metal may not seem instantly appealing on paper, in practice it is superb.

To begin with, a way of circumventing this kind of problem is to have a written band agreement that specifically states each member’s stake in the band’s products and royalties, and which may even provide for a specific royalty split for both performances (live and recorded) and original compositions.
Thus, even if there are four band members and all four of the band member’s names appear on the formally filed copyrights for your material AND performances, a band agreement could for a split in performance and composition royalties that is not necessarily equally divided.
If he is part of the band’s joint publishing company, if you have one, then he would probably have an equal stake in that as well (unless specified otherwise in a written agreement amongst you).

This is the appeal of government, which is in effect our agreed-on procedure for the use of coercion.
But if procedures for coercion are manipulatable, then being vulnerable to legal coercion is an unavoidable fact of life.
And so that is the trap—controllable, manipulatable procedures for coercion defeat their own purpose and end up institutionalizing coercive bullies.

This comparative perspective can help us think about such a difficult issue as sexual coercion in humans and it's not a case of 'oh it's built in and males are just going to do it.' We should pay attention instead to how social bonds affect things.

 NATURE OF DEMOCRACY
There is a central government, to be sure, along with the coercion and authority that are the essential attributes of any regime, but most relations between the regime and the society, and especially in the society as a whole, are based on exchange.
One is from the democratic to totalitarian corners, which reflects variation in the degree of freedom from regime coercion (or conversely the degree of coercive power a regime applies), with people having the greater freedom towards the democratic corner.
The second continuum is the amount of freedom people have from the authoritarian power of a regime and moves from the democratic end where people may legally act independently of tradition, cultural norms, and religious dogma to the authoritarian end where tradition, culture, and religion dominate, all maintained by the regime.

I occasionally wish the band had a livelier production and would just blast away for lengthier interludes, but as things stand the death/grinders are already too heavy for 99.99% of the population and will only appeal to the elite and those who seek no limits in their metal.
The band has gone back to the same producer again, however the sound is a little more open with more breathing room given the instruments although with the guitar sound being a little flat the results are shy of perfect I am afraid.
The band has to experiment with different guitar tones and make a more concise drum sound, but overall fans of the debut or all things brutally heavy will want to own this sooner rather than later.
