The Cold Crush line up most recognized is DJ Charlie Chase and DJ Tony Tone, and four MC's Grandmaster Caz, Almighty KG, JDL, and Easy (Girltaker) AD.
He met DJ Charlie Chase, in 1978, at an MC convention and by 1979, he became a member of the Cold Crush Brothers.

Cold Crush Brothers are a hip hop group that formed in 1979 in the Bronx, New York during hip hop's infancy alongside artist such as Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, Afrika Bambaataa & The Soulsonic Force, The Fantastic Five, and The Funky Four Plus One More.
The Cold Crush Brothers were especially known for their memorable routines which included singing and chanting and were patterned after innovations of The Furious Five's routines.

We received sad news this morning from both Easy AD and DJ Charlie Chase that fellow Cold Crush brother, Money Ray (Eric Hoskins), had passed away last night and the young age of 38.
His recent diagnosis of cancer, just 5 weeks ago, took everyone by surprise as he was the youngest and considered to be the healthiest member of the crew.
Fabel and I would like to express our condolences to the family of Eric Hoskins and to each of the Cold Crush Brothers and their families.

The Sugarhill Gang's Bank Hank had been managing the Cold Crush Brothers and would often listen to their tapes while working behind the counter at the pizza parlor where he was employed.
