		Cold Lake (2005 population: 11,595) is a city in northeastern Alberta, Canada, named after the lake it is situated near.
		The Town of Cold Lake amalgamated with the nearby communities of Grand Centre and the civilian areas of CFB Cold Lake (also known as Medley) in 1996.
		Cold Lake is situated near a large number of campgrounds due to its proximity to the lake.

		Construction of what would become known as RCAF Station Cold Lake began in 1952 at the height of the Cold War after the site in Alberta's "Lakeland District" was chosen by the Royal Canadian Air Force for the country's premier air weapons training base.
		During the 1980s, CFB Cold Lake was thrust into the international media spotlight when CLAWR was used as the target for testing of the newly-developed AGM-86 air launched cruise missiles by the USAF.
		Cold Lake also hosts NATO flight training operating from nearby 15 Wing Moose Jaw, as well as 5 Wing Goose Bay.

		Because if you going to move to Alberta I would recommend one of the medium sized centers such as Red Deer, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat....that is if you don't want to move to Edmonton or Calgary.
