Cole County is a county located in the U.S. state of Missouri.
In the county the population was spread out with 24.20% under the age of 18, 9.80% from 18 to 24, 32.30% from 25 to 44, 22.40% from 45 to 64, and 11.30% who were 65 years of age or older.
The median income for a household in the county was $42,924, and the median income for a family was $53,416.

William Cole, born, 1638, died 4 March 1694, established his home at "Baldrup," Warwick County, Virginia, pleasantly located on the Warwick River near Denbigh, and it was the seat of the Cole Family for nearly a hundred years.
William Cole (William) bought, 1671, the "Bolthrupe" plantation of 1350 acres lying on the Warwick River between "Denbigh," the Mathews plantation, and "Windmill Point," the seat of the Carys.
William Cole had died by 15 Sept, 1664, for on 1Aug, 1665, a tract of 100 acres in Accomack County, formerly granted "to William Cole, dec'd., and lately found to escheat." was assigned to Richard Hinman, the patent to Hinman stating that Col. Miles Cary, Escheator General, deposed concerning the facts.

Two Cole County Sheriff deputies were treated and released from Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City after sustaining injuries in a one-vehicle accident at approximately 2:30 a.m.
Cole County Judge Tom Brown recently sentenced a Jefferson City resident to five years in prison for pleading guilty to two counts of selling cocaine.

Emily and Laura are first found in Iowa in the October 1850 census of Fairfield, Jefferson County living with their parents James Cole, 41, and Harriet, 40.
Later that year Harriet S. Cole died October 20, 1856 in Moline, Illinois, across the Mississippi River from Davenport, where she was visiting another brother Rev. Allen B. Hitchcock.
The obituary correctly indicates that she was buried in Crown Hill Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Jefferson County, Colorado.

A portion of the County Court Record is destroyed, but a partial description in the record indicates at least three rooms with brick floors, two outside doors and four shuttered windows.
The entrance hall was 15 by 25 feet; to the left was the county clerk's office and vault.
The courtroom was at the rear of the first floor, and near the entrance to the courtroom was a spiral stairway.

Around 0235 CST the tornado crossed the Missouri River into extreme southern Callaway County and producd what was described as minor structural damage to the building of a trucking firm in Old Cedar City near the intersection of Highway 63 and Highway 54.
