For several laps Katharine had looked to go down the inside, under braking, into Bennetts, finally on lap 6 Darren gave Katharine the space she was looking for and she re-took the lead, a position she would hold to the flag, with Darren in second, his best performance for some time.
Not wishing Chris any harm but I feel Colin was secretly waiting for one of the self-induced mechanical gremlins to seize the 26 outfit.

I bow before the Right Reverend's superior knowledge of the views of the superstitious, but can't for the life of me understand why he believes the rejection of appeals from Muslims for help in removing a secular dictator is anti-Islamic.

A proposed £7 billion super-airport in the Warwickshire green belt would destroy rural communities and must not be allowed to go ahead, the Bishop of Coventry has said.
In an unusually outspoken intervention, the Rt Rev Colin Bennetts questioned the need for "unbridled expansion" of air traffic and urged the Government to rule out building a new airport at Church Lawford, between Coventry and Rugby.
Quoting from a report by the Diocesan Forum for Social Responsibility, Bishop Bennetts said closure of BIA would damage the Birmingham economy, where unemployment is already above average, while a new airport in Warwickshire would destroy prime farming land and ancient villages.
