	Housing Plan
		Housing represents 70 percent of the City’s tax base, and many of the issues related to housing significantly impact the budgetary decisions made by the City.
		The housing market should be monitored on a regular basis to ensure the availability of housing for households of all income levels with particular attention to the needs of graduate students and seniors.
		In College Park, the presence of the main campus of the University of Maryland creates a strong demand for housing and this is reflected in the city’s low vacancy rates.

	Yale University - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Yale College expanded gradually, establishing the Yale Medical School (1810), Yale Divinity School (1822), Yale Law School (1843), Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (1847), the Sheffield Scientific School (1861), and the Yale School of Fine Arts (1869).
		Various unwieldy schemes were used to house displaced students during the yearlong projects, but complaints finally moved Yale to build a new residence hall between the gym and the power plant.
		The report noted that nine of Yale's residential colleges are named for slave owners or proponents of slavery such as John C. Calhoun; it also noted prominent abolitionists such as James Hillhouse associated with the university.

	Community College Housing
		Since Illinois law forbids community colleges from owning or operating campus housing, the colleges that do offer it to students typically have their foundations pay for it and hire an outside source to manage it.
		Campus housing at ICC was the brainchild of the college’s president, John Erwin, PhD.
		With community colleges considering going the route of four-year colleges and universities and more students traveling from abroad and out of state to participate in special programs, it is evident that the need for student housing exists.

	Chadron State College Housing
		To stay in Family Housing during the summer the lessee must be pre-registered as a full time student for the fall semester or taking a minimum of 3 hours per summer session.
		The Apartment Reservation/Damage Deposit will be withheld if the Housing Office does not receive, in writing, a cancellation notice prior to June 1 for the Fall Semester and December 1 for the Spring Semester, that the student does not wish to be considered for Family Housing that semester.
