College Township is a township in Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States.
In the township the population was spread out with 21.1% under the age of 18, 16.7% from 18 to 24, 26.0% from 25 to 44, 21.3% from 45 to 64, and 14.9% who were 65 years of age or older.
The median income for a household in the township was $50,895, and the median income for a family was $65,649.

 New municipal building nears completion in College Twp.
College Township Council Chairman Fred Smith said the only jobs left are landscaping and the parking lot, which he hopes will be completed in the next month if weather permits.
Gary Williams, township superintendent of roads, said the newly constructed building is now complete with more than 21,000 total square feet, in comparison to the 3,200 square feet of the old building.
The building, which houses maintenance equipment, conference rooms and administrative and township staff facilities, was simply running out of space to continue this due to the rapid population growth in College Township.

College officials wouldn't reveal details, but they said the settlement agreement would "resolve the township's objections" to the college's acquisition of the former Siemens Energy and Automation Inc. building, 1002 McKee Road, at the Oakdale exit of Route 22/30.
Over the past year and a half, college representatives have been trying to gain township clearance to move onto the Siemens site, but their efforts have been thwarted by township officials concerned about the college creating more traffic, having tax-exempt status and moving into an area zoned for light industry rather than schools.
The college's efforts to move into North Fayette began in November 2003, when CCAC asked the supervisors to rezone the property from light industrial to general commercial, a change that could have accommodated the school.

The agreement was approved by the College Township Council at its regularly scheduled meeting Thursday, Oct. 3.
College Township will leave the amusement tax ordinance on the books, but will not pursue it relative to Penn State.
Township officials also agree not to oppose the University's efforts to obtain agreement with other parties in modifying the existing settlement agreement.

The State of New Hampshire grants Dartmouth College a township of 26,800 acres in extreme northeastern New Hampshire, to be called the Second College Grant.

This Township 3 of the First Entire Range was withheld from sale and was marked on Symmes' map as the college township; it now embraces the northern suburbs, from Mount Airy to Glendale, of modern Cincinnati.
So the wild college township, without a road leading into it, with a few pioneer settlers and a score of squatters living on the creek banks, took an ancient academic name, and surveyors hacked their way into the forest.

As a result of Lebanon Valley College students petitioning LVC President Stephen MacDonald on Monday, May 8, over recent actions by the Annville Township Police, President MacDonald and other College officials met Thursday, May 11, with Michael Burdge, chief of police in Annville, and Kyle Smith, president of the Annville Township Commissioners.
The College and the Township also share a common determination to protect and respect the civil liberties of all people living in Annville--students and non-students alike.
In order to strengthen and improve relations between students at the College and public officials and police in Annville, the College and the Township will consider the creation of a College-Township Police Board that would convene at the beginning of the 2006-07 academic year and meet once per month during the spring and fall semesters.
